#26 Dr Pepper Chevy owner, Dave Carroll plans to field a second BGN team for driver Blaise Alexander later this season. Alexander could run as many as eight races this year and then go full time in 2002 if sponsorship can be secured without detracting from Bobby Hamilton Jr.’s team. The main priority is still on Hamilton’s effort, regardless of whether Carroll puts together a team for Alexander, who split with (#8 Chevy)Highline Performance Group earlier in the year.
