Another Team for the Wood Bros UPDATE: A source close to Wood Brothers Racing said Tuesday that team owner Eddie Wood has bought more land close to the teams current shop in Stuart, VA, in order to build a second team shop. The shop, which will house Woods son Jons future effort, is in the formative stages now, according to the source(NASCAR.com Buzz)(5-16-2001) UPDATE: Wood Brothers Racing announced today their plans to purchase one acre of land from Patrick County. The land is adjacent to their current #21 Winston Cup operation, which is located in Stuart, Virginia. The procurement will play a major role in the teams future. According to Team Owner Eddie Wood the land is being purchased to house a potential second NASCAR team. However, Wood says there are no definite details on the second team as of yet. The lead candidate to land in the drivers seat of the Wood Brothers Racing second team is Eddies son, Jon Wood. Thus far in the 2001 season, Jon has competed in various series including the NASCAR Winston West Series and the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series(Wood Bros PR)(5-17-2001)
