Matt Crafton, the 2000 champion of the NASCAR Featherlite Southwest Series (NFSS), is scheduled to make his NASCAR Gatorade All-Pro Series (NGAPS) debut in the Kentucky 150 at the Kentucky Speedway on Friday, June 15. Crafton has entered the #42 Fast Track Driveway Sealer Ford Taurus in the event prepared by Crafton Motorsports. Crafton is currently competing full-time in the CTS. By competing in the Kentucky 150, he’ll gain experience on the Kentucky Speedway in advance of the CTS visit to the track in July. Crafton has made two starts this season in the NFSS. He has one top-10 finish, a sixth-place performance in the Sunstate Equipment 100 in Fountain, Colo. May 20. In addition to the Kentucky 150, Crafton tentatively plans to compete in the two more NGAPS events during 2001: the July 3 event in South Boston, Va. and the August 22 race in Bristol.(Crafton Motorsports PR)(6-6-2001)
