Stewart Wins IROC race: Cup driver Tony Stewart passed Eddie Cheever on the 3rd laps and led the rest of the way to win his first IROC race. Stewart crossed the finish line 2.875 seconds ahead of Al Unser Jr., who was substituting for IRL driver Scott Goodyear. Goodyear suffered a back injury in last month’s Indianapolis 500. CART driver Kenny Brack was third, Cheever was fourth and series points leader Bobby Labonte fifth.
