Kulwicki Scholarship: Terra Marckese, a senior at Bershire High School in Chardon, Ohio, has been named the winner of the Alan Kulwicki Memorial Scholarship at UNC Charlotte. The four-year Kulwicki Scholarship is the highest honor within UNCC’s Motorsports Engineering program. The scholarship is given in memory of late Winston Cup champion, Kulwicki, who lost his life in a place crash in 1992. Kulwicki was an engineer, and a strong supporter of engineering and science education(That’s Racin’)(6-11-2001)
