it was reported on FSN’s Cup Qualifying coverage that Geoffrey Bodine wrecked two #66 Phillips 66 and #87-Jeff Fuller wrecked during practice at Kentucky. They said the #87 team packed up and went home, no word on Bodine’s plans, but since he is part of a three car team (#’s 34 and 36), he could use one of their backups. AND The halfway point of the practice period saw a second on track incident when 66-Geoffrey Bodine spun out in turn four. Damage was done to the right front and right side of the car. Bodine was treated and released from the Infield Care Center and hearing that Bodine will go to one of the team (Cicci-Welliver Racing) cars for qualifying tonight(at 7pm). And Fuller – The third mishap of the practice session came two-and-a-half hours into the evening when Jeff Fuller got into the corner in turn three and touched the wall, casuing considerable damage. “We were trying to setup a mock qualifying run and the car just got out from underneath us,” Fuller said. “We really don’t have a game plan from here. #11-Marty Houston also wrecked and went to a backup car.(Kentucky Speedway Notes)(6-15-2001)
