Hooper got help at Memphis UPDATE Skips Milwaukee:

Last weekend in Memphis driver Lance Hooper and the #73 Tagsby Racing team was without a back up motor. During ‘Happy Hour’ a valve spring broke and destroyed one of the heads. Competition Cams generously invited the team and engine builder to bring the engine to their shop and loaned the team a complete cylinder head, and a shop full of equipment to repair the motor so Hooper could race. Ingles Markets was the team sponsor for the race and the team is still in need of a primary sponsor UPDATE: Lance Hooper will just be a visitor at the Milwaukee Mile this weekend. Hooper has been driving for the #73 Sonntag CTS team since Darlington. The team is currently without sponsorship and is taking this week off to regroup. .”We know we can run top 10 with Lance behind the wheel,” said Ron Crosby, one of the owners of the #73. “It’s a tough deal out here, so many of the CTS teams are having to race out of their pockets.” Sponsorship inquiries should be directed to Ron Crosby at [email protected](6-28-2001)
