Lance Hooper is in Milwaukee this weekend starting a back-up CTS truck and a BGN car to help fill the fields. Hooper received no new tires to qualify on and only 2 laps practice (to get in a time to be eligible to qualify) in each series. The #73 CTS truck listed is really the #88 back-up truck(qualified 22nd of 36). Hooper got in the #51 CTS truck during happy hour to help sort out handling problems for rookie Brian Rose. The #54/07 BGN team (#54-Kelly Denton, primary driver) is considering letting Lance run the whole race in their #07 Chevy(6-30-2001)
