Craven Re-ups with Wells: PPI Motorsports (PPIM) announced today it has extended its relationship with Ricky Craven, driver of the #32 Tide Ford in the NASCAR Winston Cup Series, by renewing his contract to drive for the team in 2002. The agreement keeps intact PPIM’s annual option to maintain its contract with Craven for forthcoming seasons. “Ricky’s experience and motivation have been a tremendous asset to both the Tide team and the development of our overall racing program,” said Owner Cal Wells. “By renewing our agreement with him now, we bring some consistency to the #32 team that will help us move closer to our long-term competition objectives.” “I’m having the time of my life racing with Tide and PPI Motorsports,” said Craven. “We’ve already had some great runs, and it excites me to know that the Tide team has the potential to get the job done on any given weekend.
