Hendrick to move to BGN fulltime in 2002?Ricky Hendrick, the son of NASCAR owner Rick Hendrick, may be making the jump to Busch Series action next year. Currently driving the #17 Chevrolet in the NCTS, he is fifth in points, has one victory, seven top-fives and 13 top-10s. If he does make the move to BGN, it’s not known whether his current sponsor, GMAC Financial Services will follow. It’s believed if he does move up, Hendrick will return to a one-truck operation unless a current sponsor or a new one decided to ante up(NASCAR.com Buzz). Hendrick is running the #24 GMAC Chevy for a limited amount of BGN races in 2001(8-19-2001)
