2002 BGN Schedule:The 2002 Busch Series schedule was announced on Monday: Some notes – The 2002 BGN schedule has expanded by one date to 34 races, with new races at Daytona and Nashville Superspeedway. One race was dropped, Watkins Glen. NASCAR.com’s Buzz reported a few weeks ago ” that the annual NASCAR Busch Series event at NHIS would more than likely be moved to be held in conjunction with one of the Winston Cup events in 2002″, this did NOT happen and will still be run on Mother’s Day weeend, May 11th, 2002. Indianapolis Raceway Park and the Milwaukee mile are still part of the BGM schedule, they were rumored to be losing races.
