Santerre in the #31? UPDATE:hearing that Andy Santerre will sub for injured Steve Park in the #31 Whelen Chevy at Kansas and some other BGN races the team plans to run in 2001 until Park can return(9-24-2001)
UPDATE: Andy Santerre will drive the #31 Whelen Chevy for Ted Marsh Racing this weekend when the BGN makes its inaugural visit to Kansas Speedway. The Cherryfield, Maine native will fill-in for driver Steve Park who is recovering from head injuries suffered at Darlington on Sept. 1. Santerre and the Marsh Racing team won BGNN races in the Whelen Monte Carlo at Watkins Glen and New Hampshire last year. Marsh Racing has fielded a part-time Busch South team for Park the last two seasons. Marsh said the team expects to run Phoenix and Homestead this season with either Park or Santerre.(PR)(9-25-2001)
