Jason Schuler could drive a limited number of 2002 BGN races for the Welliver-Jesel Motorsports #34 team. Schuler ran 13 BGN races over the last two seasons with limited success. Initially he made 11 starts in 2000 for team owner Robbie Reiser in the races regular driver Matt Kenseth was unable to run in the #17 Chevrolet. Schuler went back to Midwest Late Model racing in 2001 but made two Busch Series starts. Welliver-Jesels #34 team, for which David Green drove until its sponsorship ended following the 2001 season, appeared with Schuler at a Talladega Superspeedway test session Wednesday in which the teams first Dodge chassis made a limited number of runs before snow ended the day.(NASCAR.com Buzz)(1-3-2002)
