Steele to skip the Daytona 500: Former ARCA Champion Tim Steele has decided not to try and make the field for the upcoming Daytona 500. Steele, who will attempt to make a few NASCAR Winston Cup and Busch races in addition to 11 ARCA events in 2002, said pulling things together in time for Daytona just couldn’t be done.(RacingOne)(1-14-2002)
