former BGN team owner, Larry Lockamy, passed away on Jan 31st at the age of 54. Lockamy founded LAR Motor Sports, and owned and managed a professional Busch Series racing team. Drivers such as Jeff Purvis and Casey Atwood drove many races in the LAR #28 Monte Carlo Chevrolet. Racing was one of Larry’s true passions and lifetime dreams.(Tennessean)(2-1-2002)
