#9-Jeff Burton won the pole for the BGN race at Darlington Raceway, with a lap at 168.250mph. The rest of the top five: #21-Jeff Green, #57-Jason Keller, #10-Scott Riggs and #60-Greg Biffle. 45 cars were to attempt hte race, two failed to make the race: #90-Phil Bonifield (who also missed the CTS race) and #84-Shane Hall.
