#21-Jeff Green took the pole at Texas Motor Speedway with a speed of 193.493mph, which is faster than the Cup pole record. #87-Joe Nemechek(192.994), #2-Johnny Sauter(192.218), #1-Jimmy Spencer(192.088) and #17-Matt Kenseth(191.843) round out the top 5. Matt Kenseth held the old track record speed at 189.880mph, 19 drivers were faster on Thursday.
