Fedawa in the #87 at Nazareth:

Tim Fedewa, a two-time BGN at Nazareth, has secured a deal to drive a #87 Chevy in Sunday’s Stacker 2 200 for NEMCO Motorsports. Fedewa, who has four career BGN wins has not had a full-time ride since he separated from Welliver Jesel Motorsports midway through the 2001 season. NEMCO Motorsports runs a partial schedule of races, primarily fielding Cellular One Chevys in the BGN for team owner and Cup driver Joe Nemechek. Fedewa has one BGN start this season. He was named to drive a back-up car for the Biagi brothers at Talladega Superspeedway, but finished third when a 29-car pileup reduced the field to about 15 cars that were still running when the race resumed. Fedewa suffered a third degree burn to his foot due to the car being improperly configured to complete the full distance but has virtually recovered from that injury, he said last weekend at New Hampshire. He also made a single start in the CTS, in the season opening Florida Dodge Dealers 250 at Daytona, for Roush Racing[#99]. Fedewa said he has been actively other driving opportunities and had several solid possibilities, including in the Truck Series and Busch Series.
