Brett Bodine Racing says Timberland Pro will shift its backing from associate sponsorship of the #11 Ford in the Winston Cup Series to primary sponsorship of the team’s #11 car in the BGN for some races. The team’s Web site says the shift, which will be for an unspecified number of races starting in August, will be part of a marketing strategy to give Timberland Pro “better visibility… within the race community.” The #11 BGN car is owned by Brett Bodine and driven by his nephew Josh Richeson.(Winston Cup Scene Daily Newsletter)(5-24-2002)
