No Bull 5 goes to the dogs: R.J. Reynolds’ marketers, ever creative, have come up with another way of pairing their five “No Bull” millionaire prospects at Daytona with the top five finishers at Charlotte last month, who are also competing for another of Reynolds’ $1 million bonuses. The drivers – #6-Mark Martin, #17-Matt Kenseth, #32-Ricky Craven, #28-Ricky Rudd and #24-Jeff Gordon – and the five selected fans will be at the Daytona dog track just outside the first turn at Daytona International Speedway, with the results of a special greyhound race determining which fan is paired with each driver.(Winston Salem Journal)(6-19-2002) UPDATE: The Daytona Kennel Club will pair its greyhound race schedule with the NASCAR schedule in a special 12:15 p.m. matinee on July 5.
