#2-Johnny Sauter won the Twister 300 at Chicagoland Speedway for his first career BGN win after using a two-tire stop on Lap 98 of 200 and then a final stop on Lap 125. Sauter held off #92-Todd Bodine by .420 seconds in a three-lap dash to the finish following a five-minute red flag. #9-Jeff Burton was third, #87-Joe Nemechek was fourth and #26-Ron Hornaday completed the top five. #60-Greg Biffle maintains his hold on the series points lead with a 47-point advantage over #57-Jason Keller. #24-Jack Sprague lost an engine early in the race and #10-Scott Riggs wrecked hard later in the race. Riggs was transported to Provena St. Joseph Hospital in Joliet, Ill., for X-rays on his ribs. He complained of pain in his right rib cage area following the incident.
