Mike McLaughlin will drive in 2003 for a new BGN team, Angela’s Motorsports, who announced their formation Saturday at Atlanta Motor Speedway. The team, formed by 26-year-old racing enthusiast Angela Harkness and business partner Gary Jones, will field their #02 Fords during the final two races of the 2002 BGN season, at Phoenix and Homestead, with driver Jay Sauter. In 2003, they’ll switch to #03 and enter McLaughlin in all 34 events on the slate. No crew chief has been named.
