Jamie McMurray’s resume grows more impressive as the race weeks tick off. McMurray, who won his first Winston Cup race two weeks ago at Charlotte in his second start while substituting for the injured Sterling Marlin, picked up his first win in the BGN on Saturday. McMurray’s #27 Brewco Motorsports team gambled on fuel mileage and McMurray covered the final 76 of 203 laps without stopping to claim victory in the Aaron’s 312 at Atlanta Motor Speedway, 10.796 seconds ahead of #99-Michael Waltrip. Finishing 3rd was #18-Mike McLaughlin, 4th was #10-Scott Riggs and series points leader #60-Greg Biffle was fifth. McMurray only led one lap, the most important one, the last one. (ThatsRacin.com)
