Ford Credit Re-Ups with the #88: Ford Credit has agreed to terms with Robert Yates Racing on a one-year associate sponsorship package involving Dale Jarrett and the #88 Robert Yates Racing Ford Taurus beginning in 2003, as announced today by Phil Gordon, Motorsports Marketing Manager. Co-sponsor of the #88 Ford in NASCAR Winston Cup Series competition from 1996-2000 and associate sponsor since 2001, Ford Credit is a subsidiary of Ford Motor Company and the world’s largest provider of automotive finance. It serves more than 10 million customers in 40 countries. During its association with Robert Yates Racing, Ford Credit has donated over $630,000 to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation based on Dale Jarrett’s race finishes and pole qualifying. Two years ago, Ford Credit added an initiative called Race Fans for a Cure, where fans may make donations to the Komen Foundation at select races and events.
