David Starr said he plans to stay in the Craftsman Truck Series next season as driver of the #75 Spears Manufacturing Chevy. Starr, who finished fifth in the season standings after his eighth-place finish Friday, said he had offers to move to Winston Cup next year. “I feel like the best thing for me to do is spend one more year in the truck series and see if we can win the championship,” Starr said.(Dallas Morning News)(11-16-2002)
