NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver, Randy Briggs returned to Daytona, Jan. 11th and 12th for Daytona Thunder preseason testing. Briggs, hoping to repeat his great run at Daytona from last year, circled the high banks of Daytona in his Ford F-150 with a time of 49.297, 182.567 MPH landing him seventh out of the twenty drivers in the drafting session on Sunday. After competing in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series on a limited basis since 1999. Briggs is looking forward to a strong start this year.. Randy and the team have full intentions of racing the entire season, also competing for the Raybestos Rookie of the Year honors.
