Throughout the 2003 racing season, Timberland will promote its Timberland PRO series via associate sponsorship of the #25 Team Marines Ford owned by Team Rensi Motorsports and driven by Bobby Hamilton, Jr.. In addition to generating valuable exposure on the car itself and on driver and pit crew uniforms, this partnership with Team Rensi Motorsports – and the Team Marines Racing program – presents a host of promotional opportunities to help build awareness and drive preference for the Timberland PRO series among target consumers. In addition to being the lynchpin of the Timberland PRO series ad campaign, it will also be utilized to strengthen relationships with existing and potential retail partners. The Timberland PRO series logo will appear on the lower rear quarter panels as well as the rear TV panel of the #25 Marines Ford and show car and the transport vehicles and haulers, pit carts, and driver/pit crew uniforms and helmets. All pit crew members and garage mechanics will be outfitted with Timberland PRO series footwear and apparel. Show car appearances with Timberland PRO mobile – an interactive touring vehicle that visits vocational schools, construction sites, manufacturing plants, and other venues nationwide. A special Timberland PRO series paint scheme will run at the New Hampshire International Speedway in July.
