Leffler wins pole at Daytona:

Picking up where he left off last season as the top qualifier in the NASCAR Truck series, #2-Jason Leffler ripped off another blistering lap to claim the pole for Friday’s Florida Dodge Dealers 250 at Daytona International Speedway. Leffler, who won eight poles in 2002 but failed to win a race, turned a lap at 182.994mph to claim the top starting position. He was over a mile-an-hour faster than runner-up and fellow Dodge driver #59-Robert Pressley at 181.973. #1-Ted Musgrave was third, #6-Ed Berrier fourth and #29-Terry Cook rounded out the top five. #34-Eric Jones, #36-Geoffrey Bodine, #57-Brian Rose and #19-Ricky Sanders.(ThatsRacin.com)
