A quick update on Mike McLaughlin’s 2003 BGN efforts: Leaving Daytona McLaughlin felt he had two solid opportunities to drive very competitive cars in Rockingham and Las Vegas. This morning both of those opportunities fell by the wayside. At this point McLaughlin is aggresively looking for a competitive car to rent for this weekend. McLaughlin’s original plan coming out of Daytona called him to compete in the first three races and then evaluate his position at that point. UPDATE: From Mike McLaughlin’s website: Mike’s wife Katie, Mike will not be running Rockingham this weekend. It will be a definite for Las Vegas. Details are not available at this time but will be available in 1 to 2 days on sponsorship. It will be a Jay Robinson car [#39?]. DwStore.com was going to be on the car this weekend because of the overwhelming support from the fans. As far as next weekend in Vegas, we are not sure if they will be on the car.(2-20-2003)
