He is 14th on the NASCAR all-time starts list, two behind 13th-ranked James Hylton.(2-19-2003) UPDATE: hearing there may be a special paint scheme or decal to commemorate this.(2-20-2003) UPDATE 2: didn’t see any special scheme on the car during qualifying, in fact when interviewed, Wallace said he didn’t even realize it was his 600th start.(2-22-2003)
