UPDATE 2: Eddy McKean of McKean Racing will be making his NASCAR Busch Series debut on Saturday, March 1, 2003. Eddy has entered his #91, 2002 Jack Roush Ford Taurus in the Sam’s Town 300 Busch Series race to be run at Las Vegas Motorspeedway. Terri Allen of Red’s Racing out of Concord, NC and Stanton Barrett driver of the #60, Busch Series Roush Racing Ford have teamed up with Eddy to assist him with his Busch Series debut. Saturday’s race is the first of possibly six Busch races Eddy plans to enter this season. Eddy is currently seeking sponsorship funds for his #91 Ford Taurus, the number of Busch races he will be able to enter will depend on securing a primary sponsorship for his car. Eddy has graciously offered to run decals on his car with the website address and phone number for the Laci Peterson missing person case. Laci Peterson is the missing Modesto, CA woman who disappeared on December 24, 2003. Currently there is a reward offered of $500,000 for information leading to the safe return of Laci. Laci Peterson’s family is very grateful to have Eddy help them get out the information regarding Laci’s case. Sharon Rocha (Laci’s mother) sent a letter that said “You have no idea how much this means to us. It is people like you who are helping us get through this terrible nightmare.” Eddy is eager to help get this information out to the public in hopes that someone may come forward with information that will lead to Laci’s safe return.
