To Martin Truex Jr. dominated by leading all 150 laps to win the NASCAR Busch North Series New England Dodge Dealers 150 at Stafford Speedway. The triumph was the fourth of Truexs career and his second at the Connecticut half-mile oval. Driving a Chevrolet, Truex was also the races fastest qualifier at 90.000 mph. Starting from the pole slot, the Mayetta, N.J., driver quickly moved away from the remainder of the 30-car field and was never seriously threatened. Defending series champion Andy Santerre was second, followed by Ryan Moore, Matt Kobyluck and Tom Carey.(News Times)(5-12-2003)
