#10-Scott Riggs won the Trace Adkins Chrome 300 at Nashville Superspeedway and became the first repeat winner at Nashville, his 4th overall, his 2nd win of the season and he is now the new Busch Series points leader for the first time in his career. The rest of the top five were #37-David Green, #1-David Stremme, #7-Randy LaJoie, and #25-Bobby Hamilton Jr. Riggs won by a margin of 0.53 seconds averaging 118.547mph in a race that featured 11 cautions for 42 laps. #21-Johnny Sauter had just passed rookie #1-David Stremme for third when the rookie tapped him, putting Sauter into the wall before spinning out into the infield. NASCAR stopped the cars on the backstretch to clean up the debris and finish under green. Sauter wasn’t happy being put out of the race [drove infront of Stemme and slammed on the brakes a few times before Stremme drove low and went by Sauter]. “As a rookie, I can say I’m still learning,” Stremme said. “But that’s not how I drive. I’ll have to talk to him later. He’s a little hot right now.” #92-Todd Bodine flew back and forth between Pocono where the Winston Cup Series will run Sunday trying to maintain his lead in the Busch Series. He started second but finished 26th when engine trouble knocked him out.(ThatsRacin.com/AP)
