UPDATE: Jeff Fuller will pilot the #87 Bully Hill Vineyards Chevy in this weekends Food City 250 NASCAR Busch Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway. Joe Nemechek, who Fuller helps with research and developement, gave the 46-year old driver his pick of races for a one-race deat the full use of the NEMCO resources- including Nemecheks own crew chief and team. Fuller chose Bristol. Ive been hounding Joe for awhile and I think he finally said yes just to shut me up, joked Fuller. Seriously though, Ive been involved with various projects at NEMCO between testing, driving the pit practice car and helping out at the track when necessary. Ive been very well compensated, so for Joe and Brian (Pattie, crew chief) to go the extra mile and give me this opportunity is just incredible. Fuller, who won this event from the pole position in 1996, has been in search of a full-time ride over the past few seasons. While testing gigs pay the bills, the Auburn, MA native hopes a good run at Bristol might put his name back in the drivers pool as well. I understand that one race isnt going to land me in the drivers seat full time, but it certainly cant hurt, Fuller said. Im very optimistic about our chances. We have the pit crew, which has proven to be one of the best out there and we have all of NEMCOs resources which is a huge advantage. I absolutely love racing at Bristol and the guys really seem pumped up. I think we have a very good shot at running well.(Jeff Fuller site), also see an image of the car their or on my Busch Series Paint Schemes page.(8-21-2003)
