Bang Racing announced it will field the #42 truck for driver Mike Skinner instead of the #3 in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series during the 2004 through 2006 seasons. According to Alex Meshkin, the owner of Bang Racing and Chief Executive Officer, We are listening to our fans and there are mixed feelings. We certainly understand that there is a lot of history and passion with the No. 3 and want to respect those feelingswe are excited to be a part of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and feel that any number that comes onto the track with driver Mike Skinner and Bang Racing will be a winner and a competitive force. The Craftsman Truck Series is the first racing division to be officially announced within Bang Racing.
