Brewco Motorsports, which fields the #37 and #27 Pontiacs in the NASCAR Busch Series, will move to Chevrolets next season, team sources confirmed Friday. Pontiac announced earlier this month it would pull manufacturing support from NASCAR after this season. Brewco was the only Busch team receiving factory support from Pontiac. Brewco, which has used engines from Dale Earnhardt Inc. late this season as driver David Green has battled for the championship, hopes to have DEI power for both its teams in 2004, team sources said. Green is second in the championship race, 22 points behind leader Brian Vickers with only Saturday’s Ford 300 remaining. Johnny Sauter will drive the No. 27 next season.(ThatsRacin.com)(11-15-2003)
