NEMCO Motorsports announced its 2004 Busch Series schedule for Driver Joe Nemechek and returning sponsor Cellular One from Dobson Cellular Systems. Nemechek will pilot the #87 Cellular One Chevy in 14 events beginning with the Hershey Kisses 300 at Daytona International Speedway in February.
Were very happy to continue our relationship with Cellular One from Dobson Cellular Systems and were proud to be entering into our fifth season of racing together, said Nemechek. Weve been fortunate to be able to win races putting the Cellular One brand name out there and this year, more than ever, our goals will be centered on maximizing exposure for Cellular One. The best thing we can contribute as a race team is to run up front consistently.
Nemechek and the Cellular One team won three events in 2003 including the Sams Town 300 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, the OReilly 300 at Texas Motor Speedway and the MBNA Armed Forces 200 at Dover International Speedway, all of which will remain on the schedule. New additions include Bristol Motor Speedway in March, New Hampshire International Speedway in July and California Speedway in September. Rounding out the schedule are events at Talladega Superspeedway in April, Chicagoland Speedway in July, Michigan International Speedway in August, Kansas Speedway and Lowes Motor Speedway in October, as well as Phoenix International Raceway and Homestead-Miami Speedway in November. Since joining forces in 2000, Nemechek and Cellular One have visited victory lane seven times and have collected seven Pole Awards. Nemechek also competes full time in the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series where he drives the #01 US Army Chevrolet for MB2/MBV Motorsports. Cellular One is a licensed trade name of Dobson Cellular Systems, an Oklahoma City-based telecommunications provider operating in 16 states.
