Petty Enteprises is the only NASCAR Nextel Cup team featured in a Newsweek magazine article appearing in editions of February 9. Subscribers will receive the magazine early this week, while it will begin appearing on newstands nationwide later in the week. The national magazine interviewed Richard and Kyle Petty for the article, and spent several hours at the team’s Level Cross, N.C., shop last week in preparation for the story regarding safety. The magazine also visited NASCAR’s R&D facilities, and interviewed other experts.
