Angie Mesimer, a fabricator for #49 BAM Racing and Nextel Cup driver Ken Schrader, turned down an offer from Playboy magazine to pose for a “Women of Racing” photo spread. “I am in racing because I love racing, I love working on race cars and I love the competition,” said Mesimer, a 32-year-old single mother of two. “I have no interest in a magazine like Playboy anyway, unless they want to talk about building and working on race cars.”(Delaware News Journal)(3-11-2004)
