#24-Jeff Gordon won the Budweiser Pole for the Advance Auto Parts 500 at Martinsville Speedway with a speed of 93.502mph, it is Gordon’s 47th career pole, 3rd striaght at the track and 4th consecutive spring race pole at Martinsville. #42-Jamie McMurray starts on the outside pole with a speed of 93.239. The rest of the top five are #12-Newman, #8-Earnhardt Jr. and #29-Harvick. Missing the race was #72-Kirk Shelmerdine who was out of provisionals.
