NEMCO Motorsports team owner Joe Nemechek named Gary Putnam as crew chief of his #87 NASCAR Busch Series operation, replacing Brian Pattie. Putnam, who most recently served as crew chief for Petty Enterprises and NEXTEL Cup Series driver Jeff Green, takes over the position immediately.
