Chick Motorsports gets a sponsor, to run 5 races:

Taylor Cable will become the primary sponsor for the #74 Chevy Silverado of Team Chick Motorsports. Driver Eric Jones will compete in five of the twelve remaining Craftsman Truck Series events. Team Chick Motorsports is a Kansas City based organization competing in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. The team is owned by the Chick Family and managed by Steve Chick, Jr. Eric Jones is an accomplished racer with a background including over 200 KART victories, eight top 18 finishes in the NCTS with a high of sixth, and six starts in the NASCAR Busch series. Jones remarked, “We have got really good Chevrolet trucks and Tri-Star builds us some killer engines, all we needed was a little boost to get out there and run a number of events. I can’t think of a better company than Taylor to be associated with. Their great products are well known in other forms of racing and hopefully we can bring them some exposure with NASCAR fans.” Taylor Cable is a manufacturer of automotive wiring products for race and street applications.
