Brandon Miller will attempt to make his NASCAR Busch Series debut for Richard Childress Racing (RCR) in the Oct. 9 Mr. Goodcents 300 at Kansas Speedway. Miller will drive RCRs #29 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. He caught the eye of Bobby Hutchens, RCRs Vice President of Competition, two years ago when he qualified sixth and finished eighth in his NASCAR Truck Series debut at Mesa Marin Raceway in Bakersfield, Calif., in an entry fielded by Kevin Harvick, Inc. Im honored to drive equipment as good as RCRs, said the 23 year-old native of San Diego, Calif. It is a dream come true. After testing at Lowes Motor Speedway this week, Im looking forward to racing and getting good results. This season, Miller qualified the #55 Fruit of the Loom Chevrolet, owned by RCR NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series driver Robby Gordon, at both Nashville Superspeedway (21st, June 12) and Kentucky Speedway (fifth, June 19) when Gordons Cup schedule conflicted with the NASCAR Busch schedule. He drove the No. 2 NASCAR Truck Series entry Sept. 25 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, starting seventh and finishing 20th.(RCR PR)(10-8-2004)
