After a 30 hour, 50 minute delay for two days of rain, trucks finally hit the track at 3:50pm/et. By 3:58, they were already drafting. Ricky Craven (#99) was first truck on the track. Due to weather, they will test until 11:00pm/et Sunday, then return on Monday. The Monday test time will depend on how much the teams get in tonight.(NASCAR Today/MRN Radio)
UPDATE #2-Musgrave, #16-Sprague, #6-Hornaday and #10-Cook got together, Sprague said Hornaday slowed up, Musgrave said Sprague pinched him, so…..Cook spun threw the grass and the team loaded up the truck and will do no more testing. Musgrave will test a backup and the damaged truck will go back to the shop tonight to be repaired. Spague smacked the wall and had heavy right front damage and a wheel assembly pointing the wrong direction. All the drivers are OK. Mike Wallace is testing the #59 Dodge, but will drive the #52 Ken Schrader Chevy in the Daytona race but is not testing the truck at Daytona. The top five in Speeds so far on Sunday:

Regan Smith, driver of the Sundance Motorsports Silverado, was involved in a single truck incident with just 15 minutes to go in day one of NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series testing tonight. As a result of the extent of the damage to the #19, the team is loading the transporter to return to team headquarters in Mooresville, NC.(GM Racing PR)
