Don’t be surprised to see David Stremme in a Nextel Cup car before season’s end. Stremme’s testing last season at Nashville led to significant chassis developments for Ganassi Racing’s Cup program, and he also filled in for Bill Elliott and tested the #39 at Daytona. In Busch, Stremme has bounced around three teams over the past three years, working under four crew chiefs.
