NASCAR, attempting to close the loops on the controversial disqualification of Busch Series driver Johnny Sauter at Texas [see that story below], Wednesday revealed that one of its inspectors has been fired as a result of the matter. Although NASCAR had no comment on the details, the Charlotte Observer reports that the inspector was released after an investigation into the case.
