More than 25 NASCAR Busch Series teams will be testing at Lowe’s Motor Speedway Monday and Tuesday on Monday, May 9, and Tuesday, May 10 in preparation for the inaugural nighttime running of the CARQUEST Auto Parts 300 on Saturday, May 28. Testing will run from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. & 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Teams fielding cars for the following drivers have indicated their intention to participate with more expected:
Clint Bowyer, Ryan Hemphill, Martin Truex Jr., Michel Jourdain Jr., Paul Menard, J.J. Yeley, Bobby Labonte, Denny Hamlin, Kevin Harvick, Kenny Wallace, Mark Green, Scott Riggs, Dave Blaney, Shane Hmiel, Tony Raines, Kasey Kahne, Reed Sorenson, Jimmie Johnson, Brent Sherman, Greg Biffle, Elliott Sadler, Michael Waltrip, Ryan Newman and A.J. Fike. Fans can attend both of the NASCAR Busch Series testing sessions free of charge. Lowe’s Motor Speedway’s frontstretch grandstand will be open both days and fans should enter through Gate 5A, located next to the main ticket office.(Lowe’s Motor Speedway)(5-7-2005)
