Fruit of the Loom and Chicago-based Wilson Sporting Goods have entered into a licensing agreement whereby the world-renowned apparel company will produce, sell and market a line of Activewear products inspired by and designed for today’s athletes. Wilson is one of the highest-rated sporting goods brands among consumers 12-65 years of age. The new Wilson Activewear line will be sold through sports specialty and mid-tier retailers throughout the United States. The Wilson logo will appear on the #7 Chevrolet for the remaining races [Daytona, Indianapolis; California, Talladega, Martinsville, Texas, and Phoenix] in which Fruit of the Loom is contracted to be Robby Gordon’s primary sponsor this season, beginning with this weekends Coca Cola 600.(Team Gordon)(5-27-2005)
