Speed News expanded this Sat:

With a huge weekend of racing on tap, SPEED Channel will air a special one-hour version of its popular SPEED News program this Saturday at 6:30pm/et. The program will include:
* A feature on World Track Cycling champion Marty Nothstein, an Olympic gold medalist at the 2000 games and silver medalist at the 1996 games, who is exploring a career in Funny Car drag racing. SPEED News cameras followed Nothstein for a day while he earned his alcohol funny car license at the Frank Hawley NHRA Drag Racing School in Gainesville, Fla.
* Reports from the 24 Hours of Le Mans from SPEED Channel’s Greg Creamer and Dorsey Schroeder. (SPEED Channel will bring viewers 17.5 hours of LIVE coverage from the famed event beginning Saturday morning at 9:30 a.m. ET.)
* Reports from the U.S. Grand Prix from Indy with Peter Windsor and Derek Daly. (SPEED Channel covers the event LIVE on Sunday at 1:30 p.m.)
* NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series highlights from Michigan with Ray Dunlap. (SPEED Channel covers the event LIVE on Saturday 3 p.m. ET)
* NASCAR Nextel Cup Series quailifying report from Michigan with Bob Dillner.
* Champ Car World Series qualifying report from Portland with Robin Miller.
* NHRA qualifying highlights from Englishtown, NJ.
