not much out there about this, so….This time last week Chad Chaffin was at a low point in his racing career, having just been informed that he had lost his #30 Craftsman Truck Series ride to Todd Bodine. Now he thinks “it may have been the best thing to happen to me. I ended up with a much better deal.” No sooner was Chaffin released than he was signed by Ohio-based Wyler Racing for the remainder of the season. “I was disappointed at being let go but I understood what happened,” Chaffin said. “Todd had driven for the team before and had a good relationship with a lot of people in the organization who wanted to take him back.” Chaffin finished 17th in his new ride last week at Milwaukee and believes the team will get better as the season progresses. “Any time you make a change it takes a little time for everybody to adjust,” he said. “This is a good team and I’m excited about our potential. One door closed but another opened, and I think it’s going to turn out better for me.”(Tennessean)(6-29-2005)
